I have read some of the reviews for this hotel and to be honest, some of them are laughable. I drive a semi and stay in hotels every day when I am on the road. I would have to say that this hotel is one of the best that I have stayed in. I have never had a problem with a dirty room or anything. The staff is always willing to help with anything you ask. Breakfast is on par for similar hotels, always a hot breakfast. If you are in Shelbyville and need a hotel, this is the place to be

2 story building with NO elevator. Don't stay there unless you are OK hauling your luggage up and down a flight of stairs.
Walked in 5/28 at about 11pm, no reservation and was greeted by a very friendly energetic hostess (sorry cannot rember name but wont forget her) Checked in promptly and found a place I could park my pickup and long trailer. The room was clean, no off smells and a comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was above average compared to other hotels I've stayed in. The cheesy eggs were a pleasant surprise. Here's the kicker......I (Duhhh, brain fart) left my ID and credit card in the room on checkout. Fortunately, I wasn't too far away when the hotel called to inform me of my mistake. I came back and retrieved them and wanted to thank the room cleaning lady personally. Unfortunately, she had gone home already. I did leave her a token of my appreciation and want to (at least in this post) GREATLY thank her for her honesty. MANAGEMENT, hang on to the lady on duty at check in and the lady that cleaned my room. Had a great stay and would give more stars if I could. I don't get this way too often, but this is where I'm going to stay
Clean, friendly, affordable. Water pressure and temp just a little less than prefer, but still very decent. No problems, decent breakfast, coffee and some small items available 24/7.
